Question

Do I need to be vaccinated?

Answer

No. But we respectfully encourage any non-vaccinated guests to get a negative COVID-19 test before traveling to our wedding to help protect our high-risk family and friends.

Question

What is altitude sickness?

Answer

Going to lean on WebMD for this one: "Sometimes called “mountain sickness,” altitude sickness is a group of symptoms that can strike if you walk or climb to a higher elevation, or altitude, too quickly." North Star Gatherings is nestled in the mountains at 8,900 ft. Some of our guests may experience shortness of breath, dizziness or headache. We recommend hydrating *before* the wedding and arriving in Colorado 24 hours ahead of time to adjust. We will have several small oxygen cans on site if needed.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only, with the exception of some younger family members. We thank you for your understanding. Please contact us with any questions.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Up to you! You do not need to worry about driving to the venue since we are providing complimentary shuttles. We strongly suggest our guests take advantage of this option. Having a car would come in handy if you plan to explore outside the Denver/Golden area during your stay.

Question

Where do I catch the shuttle?

Answer

Shuttles will pick up guests from the parking lot at the Golden Hotel - 800 11th St, Golden, CO 80401. Please arrive no later than 3:30 p.m. There is street parking available or you can Uber/Lyft to this location. Shuttles will drop guests here at the end of the night.
