Albany International Airport is the closest airport to Saratoga Springs. After landing, it’s a 30 minute trip to Saratoga via taxi/Uber, rental car or train.
Train
Saratoga is accessible by two Amtrak stations: the Albany-Rensselaer station (40 min car ride to downtown Saratoga) and the Saratoga Springs station (5 min car ride to downtown Saratoga). You can take the Amtrak train directly from New York City to either the Albany or Saratoga Station. There are no direct train options from Boston or DC, you will need to transfer in NYC.

Travel Note
Saratoga Springs has plenty of rental options (Airbnb/VRBO). If you decide to go that route we recommend staying no further than one mile outside of downtown (Hampton Inn & Suites in downtown is a good reference point). Our favorite place to rent is in between Congress Park and Saratoga Race Track. Feel free to reach out with questions.
