What should I wear?

Dress to impress in your best formal attire! Black tie is optional.

What time should I arrive at the church?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30PM. Please arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow time for parking and finding your seat in the church.

Where do I park?

Answer

There is free parking across the street from the church. People's Bank Arena is also just around the corner, and there is a parking garage attached. Please know if you choose to park here, you will have to pay for parking. There is free parking on the premises at St. Clement's Castle. As you pull into the venue, drive down the long driveway and veer to the right. This is where our reception will be taking place, and there is a parking lot here.

What do I do after the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding party will be taking photos nearby. Downtown Hartford is home to a variety of bars and restaurants close by to the church. Take this time to explore and grab a cocktail at Max Downtown or Sorella! Arrigoni Winery is also only 2.3 miles away from St. Clement's Castle in Portland and would be beautiful to visit in September. Please be advised it takes about 30 minutes to drive to the reception space from Hartford without traffic. Please plan accordingly!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are choosing to have an unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from using your phones or cameras during the church ceremony. We have hired wonderful photographers to capture this moment and will share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you'd like!
