Welcome to Our Happily Ever After

Back in October 2021, we both took a shot at the whole online dating thing. Anyone who has ever done online dating knows it is definitely not for the weak lol! We met on Match and talked for about a week then we finally decided to go on our first date at Harper’s Restaurant in Friendly Center. We still to this day talk about our very first interaction, I walked up to Chris outside the restaurant and said “Hi I’m Rachel, I’m a hugger!!” And the rest was history😂 Funny enough, in the early days of us talking we found out we actually both went to the same high school! Small world!! Chris was a senior when Rachel was a freshman at Northern Guilford High School, and we had no idea until years later. Fast forward to now and it’s crazy to think how taking a chance and “swiping right” on each other has led us to this amazing love story❤️

It was the first day of our family trip at Disney and we were walking down main street when Chris asked if I wanted to take a picture in front of the castle. This is always the first thing I like to do when I go to Disney so of course I didn’t think anything of it. We take the picture and Chris tells me to go look at the picture to make sure I like it. As I’m walking away, my family says “Rachel turn around!” And Chris was down on one knee with the most beautiful ring in his hand! My entire family was there to witness this special moment and of course I said yes! My dream was always to get proposed to at Disney and my dream came true! We are so excited to finally be getting married and we couldn’t be more thankful to celebrate with you all❤️
