Rocky Mountain National Park
Go for a hike, relax at Bear Lake, or go for a drive along Trail Ridge Road up to 12,000ft elevation. Whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed with mountain views and Colorado wildlife.
Estes Park - Downtown
Go shopping, play some minigolf, tour the historic (and haunted??) Stanley Hotel, enjoy a riverside stroll, or head up to nearby Rocky Mountain National Park. The quiet mountain town of Estes Park has something for everyone.
The Wild Animal Sanctuary
Bears, Tigers, Wolves, Lions, and many other animals rescued from abusive situations now call the Wild Animal Sanctuary their home. Even some of the Tiger King's cats now roam the large acreage habitats of TWAS.
Colorado Springs - Garden of the Gods
Hike, walk, or drive around the beautiful stone formations at Garden of the Gods. While you're down south in Colorado Springs, check out Pike's Peak or the Manitou Cliff Dwellings too!
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Hike, do some yoga, or catch a show, all while surrounded by the gorgeous natural amphitheatre and red sandstone formations.
Denver
Obviously there's a lot to do in the Mile High City. Shop or grab some food & drinks downtown, check out the Museum of Nature & Science, watch the cliff divers at Casa Bonita, go to a Rockies game at Coors Field, cool off at the aquarium, there are too many options to list!
Lyons
Enjoy small town vibes with shopping, or spend the day on the water fishing or tubing the St. Vrain River. Tube rental available in the area!
Longmont
The city of Longmont, located approximately 10 miles from the wedding venue, offers many options to keep you busy during your trip to our great state. Ride around town exploring local breweries and distilleries on the Brewhop Trolley, enjoy the many local restaurants and shops, explore the Union Reservoir, or travel a little south and take in the views of the rockies on a hot air balloon!
Boulder
Hike and enjoy the Flatirons at Chautauqua Park, or enjoy shopping, food, and street performers at the outdoor Pearl Street Mall. The Boulder Creek also offers a great opportunity to beat the heat with a swim in cool Colorado waters.
Carter Lake Reservoir
Soak up some sun on the beach, kayak, paddleboard, or go for a swim at Carter Lake Reservoir located just outside of Loveland. The Reservoir also offers hiking, camping, and dining on the waters edge!
Poudre Canyon
Explore the Poudre Canyon located just northwest of Fort Collins. The area offers amazing views, hikes, and camping locations. The Poudre River also provides some of the best whitewater rafting in the country as well as a wonderful opportunity to see Colorado wildlife!
Fort Collins - Horsetooth Reservoir
Fort Collins is not only the town where we fell in love with each other, but is a place that we each individually fell in love with. Enjoy the beauty of Horsetooth Mountain and Horsetooth Reservoir with a drive, hike, or even spend a day on the water by renting some paddleboards, swimming, or fishing.
Fort Collins - Old Town Square
Enjoy Fort Collins by doing some shopping (or imbibing) at the many shops and restaurants in downtown Fort Collins. Browse fossils for sale at Nature's Own, grab a drink at Fort Collins' oldest (and tiniest) pub Town Pump, catch a concert at the Aggie, or go to one of the many nearby breweries. Do it all in true Fort Collins style by renting a bike!
Laramie Foothills Bison Conservation Herd
Just north of Fort Collins you can find a stunning herd of american bison. The herd started in 2015 with 9 females and 1 male from Yellowstone and is now a herd that is roughly 80 strong thanks to conservation efforts by the city of Fort Collins, Colorado State University, and the Parks and Wildlife Services!
