Caleb and Rachel matched on a little dating app called Hinge in April 2023 (Caleb used to tell people they met at the gym). Caleb had just moved back to Ohio to work for Bridgestone after living in Idaho for several years. Rachel had been living in Columbus and working at NBC4 since 2022. The two were supposed to go somewhere nice for dinner and drinks on April 30, 2023, but ended up going to Raising Cane's in Westerville for their first date. After that, Caleb and Rachel were hanging out almost every day and instantly fell in love. The couple made their relationship official that summer after Rachel asked the popular question "so what are we?" After making several memories together, the couple made a big jump in their relationship and moved in together in 2024. In September 2025, Caleb and Rachel bought their first house in Columbus where they live with their cats, Mac and Mila. On December 11, 2025, Caleb got down on one knee and proposed to Rachel in their living room as soon as she got home from work. Now, Rachel and Caleb are so excited to get married and celebrate with all of their favorite people!
