Question

Where is the venue, and will everything be held there?

Answer

North Star Farm Event Center: 34234 322nd St, Le Sueur, MN 56058. Both the ceremony and reception will be held here. Please view the map under the Gallery section.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive by 4:15 PM to allow time to be seated and settled before the celebration begins. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors beneath a canopy of trees, offering plenty of natural shade. The reception will be held indoors in an air-conditioned space, with an adjacent covered patio featuring fans and shaded areas to ensure guest comfort throughout the evening.

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available on a grassy lot located on the venue grounds. Overnight parking is allowed, but all vehicles must be removed by 10:00 AM the following morning to avoid towing at the owner’s expense.

Is there a dress code?

We kindly request that guests dress in semi-formal attire.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

We recommend keeping comfort in mind, as the venue includes a mix of grass, gravel, concrete, and plank flooring. The parking area is grassy, roads are gravel, and the walkways to the ceremony and reception feature wooden plank flooring. Whether you choose heels, flats, or stylish sneakers, please select footwear suitable for strolling the farm grounds.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are extended according to the details noted on your invitation. If you are unsure, please feel free to contact the bride or groom for clarification.

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome. We have thoughtfully considered our littlest guests, and any invitations extended to them will be noted on your invitation. As the property is quite large, we kindly ask that parents keep a close eye on their children at all times. Please note that the bride and groom are responsible for all guests—young and old—and any damages to the venue, big or small, will be at their personal expense.

What should I do if I can’t attend?

Answer

Kindly let us know by responding appropriately on your RSVP. Your response is greatly appreciated—and the sooner, the better! It helps us finalize important details and plan accordingly.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes, we will be offering an open bar featuring beer, wine, seltzers, and mixed drinks. Kindly note that shots will not be served. We encourage guests to bring cash to tip the bartender.

Will there be a vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free option?

Answer

We’ll be serving an Italian pasta bar with chicken alfredo (chicken on the side), meatball marinara (meatballs cooked into sauce), or vegetarian lasagna. Please indicate on your RSVP if you'd like the vegetarian option so we can plan portions accordingly.

Is smoking permitted at the venue?

Answer

Yes, smoking—including cigarettes, vapes, and cannabis—is permitted in designated areas only. We kindly ask that all guests use the provided ashtrays and sand buckets in these areas to dispose of waste properly. Please do not smoke where there are no ashtrays, and refrain from discarding waste into the fire pit.

Is the venue accessible for guests with disabilities?

Answer

Yes. The venue offers designated handicap parking, large ADA-compliant restrooms, and single-level access to both the ceremony and reception areas. Doorways accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, and motorized scooters.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We’ve decided to forgo a traditional registry and instead created a "Future Home Fund". If you’d like to contribute, it would mean the world to us as we take the next big step together—buying our first home!
