Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible, but no later than June 1st, 2025.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! We LIVE for a bold and elevated fashion choice. Our wedding style is a mixture of the whimsical fantasy and romantic-gothic styles. We recommend guests to dress in elevated high fashion clothing while still remaining comfortable. Our ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception will be indoors. Please dress for warmer weather but it may get colder in the evening.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Leave the little ones at home, its parents night out! No kiddies this time, please...but we love them very much.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your plus one will be listed on the invitation if they are invited. If you would like to request a plus one, please ask Bryan or Rachel and we will allow it on a case by case basis depending on space allowance.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Yes! We encourage taking photos and videos during the ceremony and reception. We will have a professional photographer, but we would love if you could help us document this special day. Any photos and videos that you have can be uploaded to this link after the wedding: https://my.wedibox.com/recfjNXkzDEldgTr

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in early October in NYC is stunning. It averages 60-70 degrees in October, and the nights begin to cool down to the 50s. There is almost no chance of rain, but having a light layer or sweater is recommended! The ceremony will be outdoors but the reception is indoors.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

yes, we have a block of rooms at an affordable hotel near Prospect Park. That is linked in the travel section. We also highly recommend looking at Airbnb and VRBO as there are lots of options!

Question

What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

It is about a 20 minute walk, 5 minute drive, or 10 minute bus ride from the ceremony in Prospect Park to the reception at ALTAR.

Question

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

Either JFK or LaGuardia are easily accessible by train, bus, Uber, and Taxi. JFK is closer to Brooklyn, but LaGuardia is more convenient to Manhattan. We fly into and out-of both often.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

There will be a full open bar and plenty of food. ALTAR is catering their own food, so feel free to look at the menu on their website to get an idea. It will be an assortment of small plates, and their food is phenomenal. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let Rachel or Bryan know so they can do their best to accommodate.
