The ceremony and reception are both at Chimney Pond Farm in Glenville, NC. The address is 240 Chimney Pond Rd, Glenville, NC 28736. Points of reference: on the Northeast side of Lake Glenville, about 30 minute drive (15 miles) from Highlands Main Street, about 1.5 hours southwest of Asheville
For our guests coming from Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, or the Carolinas, a drive is likely the most convenient. For guests outside the southeast, the two largest airports are CLT & ATL. Depending on where you are coming from flying into Chattanooga, Greenville(SC), or Asheville may also be viable options. There is additional information on the travel page.
While we love all of the children in our lives, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event.
Our wedding is Black Tie Optional. The ceremony and cocktail hour will also be outside and require walking on grass, so we recommend a jacket and comfortable shoes. Additional information is on the website's attire page.
When sending your RSVP, there will be an opportunity to share dietary restrictions. If you have any food allergies or special request you are especially concerned about, please let the Meeker or Remmes families know.
We’ve decided to keep things simple and skip the traditional bridal party. While we’re not having bridesmaids or groomsmen, please know that each of you holds a special place in our hearts. Your love and support mean the world to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate this day surrounded by our favorite people—no titles needed!
Getting from the parking lot to the ceremony and then to the reception site require short walks on some uneven terrain. If you have concerns about this please reach out to the Meeker or Remmes family, and we will make sure a plan is in place.
