FAQs

Question

When to RSVP?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by April 20, 2026. If you are unable to attend, an Early RSVP would be greatly appreciated

Question

What is Black Tie Optional?

Answer

Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie. Ladies are invited to wear long formal gowns. Think timeless and elegant. We kindly ask that white or ivory gowns be reserved for the bride, and that casual attire such as jeans or shorts be saved for another occasion. Thank you for helping make this a beautiful and special day for the couple. For additional guidance, please refer to this article: https://www.brides.com/black-tie-optional-wedding-attire-4800698

Question

Is the ceremony open to everyone?

Answer

Yes! We warmly invite all friends and family to join us for our ceremony. Please note that the reception will be by private invitation and is indicated on your Save the Date and the formal invitation. Guests attending the ceremony only are invited to enjoy light refreshments immediately following the ceremony. This will be an opportunity for guests to mingle and greet the bride and groom!

Question

Can I bring a guest to the Reception?

Answer

We love celebrating with everyone, but due to venue capacity, we are limited on space. Seating is reserved only for those listed on the invitation. If your invitation does not include a "plus one" option, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests.

Question

Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors, with outdoor areas available for mingling. The wedding will be held at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga, TN. Reception venue details will be sent to those who will be attending the private reception.
