Yes there will be a dress code! Many photos will be taken throughout the day and we want everyone to be dressed appropriately for these special moments. We kindly ask guests to wear their "Sunday best" attire. Since the ceremony will be held outdoors and the barn does not have climate control, please keep weather in mind. For women, please avoid wearing white, cream, nude, or any "light" colors that can easily be mistaken for white as it is reserved for the bride. Thank you!
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate a select number of plus ones, and we've reserved them for certain guests. Please kindly refer to your invitation for the names listed, and we appreciate your understanding as we create a memorable day for everyone!
While the ceremony begins at 2:00pm, seating will be open at the 1:30pm. We kindly ask that guests arrive at least 15-30mins before the ceremony start time in order to find their seats and get comfortable so we can start on time.
To ensure everyone can be fully present and enjoy the ceremony without distractions, we are having an "unplugged ceremony." We kindly ask that you leave the photos and videos to the professionals so you can be in the moment with us (and avoid giving our incredibly talented photographer more work by having to edit out phones in our photos). Personal photos and videos will be encouraged during the reception. Thank you for your understanding!
Please RSVP no later than August 20th, 2025 as the bride and groom will need to finalize guest headcount to go over with their vendors. Please do so by contacting either the bride at (815)986-6894 or the groom at (815)990-1661
No. We're keeping things alcohol-free and focused on good vibes, good food, and celebrating with the people we love most. This includes no bartenders being provided. We appreciate your understanding and support that reflects our values and preferences!
Yes, yes, and yes! Whether they’re stealing the spotlight on the dance floor or sneaking cupcakes before dinner, we’re thrilled to have them celebrate with us. The more giggles, the better!
