Question

WHAT IS APPROPRIATE ATTIRE/DRESS?

Answer

For ceremony/reception we request cocktail/semi-formal...whatever that may mean to you! The ceremony is outside in a wooded clearing, so be mindful of this when choosing footwear. The camping/after-party is casual (there are places indoors to change clothes).

Question

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED? WHAT ABOUT DOGS?

Answer

We have planned our event to be adults only. We have received permission from the site for our dog to be present, but please no other dogs are allowed.

Question

How do I reserve a bed at the campground?

Answer

So happy to hear you'll be staying and partying with us all night long! Please reach out to both Rachel and Andrew directly to secure a space. Bed spaces in cabins are first come, first serve, but there is also plenty of space to set up a tent! Please do not go to the camp's website to secure a bed, reach out to Rachel and Andrew directly.

Question

If I'm staying at the campground, when can I arrive and when should I plan to leave?

Answer

Guests who are staying at the campground can arrive as early as Thursday evening. Please inform Rachel and Andrew when you plan to arrive. For those arriving Friday, please arrive at least 2 hours ahead of the ceremony as the site will be bustling as we approach go time! On Saturday, all campsites and cabins need to be cleaned and guests gone by 11:00am.

Question

What supplies should overnight guests bring?

Answer

If camping, please bring tent and all supplies you would normally use to stay warm and dry. If staying in a cabin space, please bring either a sleeping bag and/or sheets (we'll let you know which size, either full or twin), pillow, blankets, etc. For everyone staying overnight, we also suggest a warm change of clothes and shoes, flashlights, insect repellent, toiletries, water bottle, etc.

Question

Is there a fee for staying overnight at the campground?

Answer

Staying overnight is free of charge! All we ask is that you be respectful and mindful of your surroundings.

Question

Is there electricity and heat in the buildings?

Answer

Yes! All buildings and covered facilities have electricity and power hookups. If the weather is chillier, we have access to heaters for the cabins as well.

Question

What's the bathroom situation for overnight guests?

Answer

There is a shared bathroom space (1 for men, 1 for women) for the cabins and campers, and individual bathrooms in the main lodge will be available to guests as well. Please feel free to use the facilities to get ready for the event when you arrive, or you can arrive ready and drop your bags at your space.

Question

Are there rules regarding bonfires, sparklers, etc.?

Answer

There are designated areas for bonfires (which we will be using of course!). Fireworks and sparklers are prohibited by the venue, as are bonfires outside of the designated areas.

Question

SHOULD OVERNIGHT GUESTS BRING FOOD FOR THE AFTER-PARTY OR SATURDAY MORNING?

Answer

There will be plenty of food served throughout the evening, and we will have a light breakfast for everyone Saturday morning. Feel free to bring snacks for late-night munchies. We also encourage you to bring a refillable bottle or other container for water.

Question

Is there a rain plan?

Answer

Yes! In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved under the pavilion and arrangements will be made to secure indoor or otherwise covered sleeping areas for overnight guests.
