Walking distance from both hotels where we have hotel blocks. Our favorite Thai restaurant in Frederick. Rachel is obsessed with their pineapple fried rice!

Kittiwat Thai Kitchen

One of our favorite downtown Frederick lunch and dinner spots. Very vegetarian friendly; great sandwiches, stir fry and soups!

Orchard Restaurant

Cute local spot for morning bagels and coffee. Outdoor seating out front means you can watch downtown Frederick wake up!

Beans & Bagels

Best bagels in Frederick County. A bit of a drive but well worth it. New school (and old school) deli favorites. Alex loves the french toast bagel, Rachel is partial to the "Lox Smith".

Pumpernickel + Rye

One of the stops on Maryland's Ice Cream Trail and a favorite of ours to visit after we've biked on the C&O Canal nearby!

Rocky Point Creamery

A 30 minute drive from Frederick, Gettysburg is a must-visit for anyone who hasn't been before.

Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center

This is our favorite hiking destination near Frederick. Waterfalls, a lake, amazing forests and terrific views. You can't go wrong when visiting the Watershed.

Frederick Municipal Forest

Amazing Neapolitan style pizza and genuine Italian gelato.
