Little to Rachel's knowledge, there was a shiny little object burning a hole in Akito's pocket during the first several miles of a hike they had gone on. At the first possible viewpoint, Akito dropped to one knee and waited for her to turn around. And waited. And waited. And waited. Once all of the cartilage had completely worn off that knee, Rachel finally turned around, completely surprised! She said Yes!
