Restaurants
We love to go out for drinks and dinner. Madison has a wide range of options, so please reach out to us or anyone in our wedding party for suggestions! Some of our favorite dinner spots are Madison's, Merchant, and Settle Down. Go to Eno Vino for a good, rooftop view. There is an array of bars (and plenty with mocktail lists) on the square, State Street, and East Wash. Ancora is our favorite coffee spot, with great breakfast options as well.
Live Music
There is live music all over Madison in the Summer. There is always music on Thursdays at Monona Terrace and Fridays at Memorial Union. There may also be a concert on the square Friday night. We will update this list as we get closer to the date.
Capitol Square Farmers Market
A Madison staple! Go before 9:00am to beat the busiest times. Rachel loves the scones and flowers. AJ loves the fried cheese and fresh eggs. Did you know you can also go on the outside balcony of the Capitol building? The building is open to the public. If you are standing in the Rotunda, head towards 'State Street' and find the elevator on your right behind the stairs. Take it to the 4th floor. You can also ask an employee how to get to the Observation Desk.
Memorial Union Terrace
Sit by the water and enjoy a pitcher! Enjoy live music on Friday nights.
