Travel Note
We will be staying at the park for the whole weekend, arriving Friday and leaving on Sunday. If you’d like to stay at the park with us, you have 2 options... *update: as of 6/20, all cabins are booked and only campsites are available* #1- bring a tent and camp like a champ! Campsites are $19-22 per night with a 2 night minimum and can be reserved at www.reserveamerica.com #2- get a group together, rent a cabin and try “glamping” (glamorous camping!). Cabins are 3-4 bedrooms, sleeping 6-8 people and range from $135-155 per night with a 2 night minimum. Cabins have beds, toilets, and running (cold) water. Guests must bring their own bed linens and towels. Cabins can be reserved at www.reserveamerica.com, make sure to choose Lake Taghkanic State Park as the location!! *The park does have bath houses with hot showers for those that sweat a lot when they dance (...like Rachel)
Travel Note
Obviously cabin renting and camping is not for everybody, we get that! The only problem is that hotel accommodations in this area are quite slim, and with it being wedding season, many hotels are already blocked, which means we are unable to block rooms for you. Have no fear, though, because we have a solution for those that NEED a hotel.... call Loretta at 518-851-3510. She runs a bed and breakfast called "Changing Times Boutique" and has rooms available, and if not, she will help facilitate a place for you to stay through her website www.hudsonarealodging.com. See, we have an answer for everything!
