Let us take you back to April 23rd, 2022. It was the night of the Spokane Advertising Awards and the moment that would bring Rachel and Aaron together. Working as a copywriter for a local agency, Rachel attended the event with her coworkers. At the same time, Aaron joined his sister, Erica, who owns her own advertising agency in town. Fun fact: Rachel had known Erica from 3 years before when she neared the end of her time at Gonzaga University. It wasn't until the after party that time stopped for Aaron. As he tells it, Rachel walked down the stairs of Lucky You Lounge and Aaron announced to his sister, "that's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen." to which Erica replied, "Oh, that's Rachel!" Aaron and Rachel spent the rest of the night eyeing each other from across the dance floor. If this feels like a scene from a romantic comedy, it truly could have been. Erica's wife, Farren, pushed Aaron towards Rachel and the two began to dance. Grinding to "Low" by Flo Rida in front of family and coworkers was equally awkward and charming. And, well, the rest is history.
