12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Please dress modestly. Avoid sleeveless tops, low-cut tops, bare midriffs, and hemlines above knees. Men are asked to remove hats in church; women are asked to cover their heads in church (1 Corinthians 11).
The ceremony will last about an hour. Parking is available behind the church, across the street from the church, and on the street. Entering and exiting the church will require the use of stairs. Restrooms are on the lower level and require the use of stairs. Catholics who are practicing the faith, who have received the sacrament of reconciliation for any mortal sins, and who have fasted at least one hour may receive communion. Communion is received directly on the tongue while kneeling at the altar rail. All who are not receiving communion should remain in the pew and are encouraged to express in their hearts a prayerful desire for unity with the Lord Jesus and with one another. An afternoon cocktail reception with drinks and Italian antipasti (appetizers) will follow at the American Italian Cultural Society, 1918 Donmaur Drive, Crest Hill.
