Our wedding will be outside, in October. Please remember dress for warmth and possibly some layers, and your personal style! Dress to impress in your own special way. Colorado weather can be unpredictable, it may be 70 or it may be 50 - please be prepared for the adventure of our wedding day!
We would love to include everyone, however, we won't be able to accommodate pets or children.
We will, the ceremony will be in the garden next to the Denver City Park Pavilion, with the reception right next to the garden (ladies, take note we will be on the grass). The pavilion is under a roof and has open walls. We'll try our best to block the outside air, but as this is a historic building, we are only allowed to do so much!
It does! We love the date, Friday the 13th. Remember, this isn't the same as Halloween, though we do like the spookiness of getting married on Friday the 13th of October. Our theme is art deco with an oddity vibe, think classy black bones and sparkly macabre.
We welcome guests starting at 5 pm, we recommend arriving as close to 5 as possible so we can begin the ceremony at 5:45 as scheduled.
There is a parking lot next to the pavilion, please refer to the posted map. Parking is free, but open to all park visitors so it's first come, first reserved. We recommend getting a ride share or carpooling! For those requiring accessibility accommodations, there are a few handicapped parking spaces. We aren't able to reserve them, but we will try our best!
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
It is! Please keep in mind the ceremony will be on grass, but there are ramps from the garden to the pavilion.
At the reception, we will have food and drinks. There will be vegetarian and gluten free options.
While we don't have need for anything, if you're very set on giving a tangible gift, please reach out to Rachel and we can talk.
Our centerpieces are part of a collection we have gathered over many years. Please keep in mind we would like to keep our collection intact.
You absolutely can take pictures of the reception! There will be a few minutes at the start of the ceremony if you'd like to snap your own, the remainder of the ceremony, we'd like phones and cameras put away so everyone can remain present with us. If posting pictures to social media, please use the hashtag #lamielltildeath so that we can collect everyone's snaps!
We have picked #lamielltildeath
