Let's Tie the Knot!

They both had started the Early College Alliance at EMU the same year, as sophomores in High School. Coming from different schools in Ypsilanti, they had never met before. The first time their paths crossed they didn't get along very well. Time went on and they had become mutual friends, but it was time to graduate High School and go off to college. Rachel had stayed at EMU and Kameron had gone off to Michigan State. After a semester there, he decided to come back to EMU where he and Rachel took the same Economics class by fate. Once she knew he was in that class she forced him to sit with her and her friends, which developed into a close friendship and they started talking daily. They remained friends for a long time and it's hard to say who really liked whom first, but they both fell for one another. During 2020, we all know as the year of COVID, Rachel grew impatient and asked Kameron if he would ever ask her out, and he said maybe. Months later when the lockdown lifted, he had asked her to help him shop for the new apartment he was moving into in a few weeks. He took her to Target for their first date, after that day they were tied at the hip. Look at them now, tying the knot!
