What’s the dress code?

Answer

Black-Tie optional, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Yes, check out our Travel & Accommodations page for additional info. Round-trip transportation between the Courtyard Marriott and the venue will be arranged. Please note that while ride-share services Uber/Lyft are easily available from the hotels, you will still need to board one of the shuttles for drop-off at the venue. *No other vehicles may access the driveway of the private estate or enter the property* Shuttle boarding locations and times are: (1) Courtyard Marriott Thousand Oaks Agoura Hills departing from the hotel lobby at 3:15pm or (2) St. Aidan's Malibu parking lot, departing promptly at 3:45pm Please plan to leave the event on the shuttles to ensure a timely return back to the church parking lot, your hotel and/or after party!

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is it indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour & reception will take place entirely outdoors. Malibu averages a high of 80 and low of 60 during the month of October, with sunset around 6:30 PM, so a wrap or light sweater is recommended.

Where should we park?

Answer

If you do not plan on using the provided shuttle service from the Courtyard Marriott and prefer to Uber or drive yourself, we have reserved an offsite private parking lot for our guests, [located 1/2 a mile away from the venue] at St. Aidan's Church Malibu, 28211 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265. Once you arrive at the lot, please board the shuttle (departing at 3:45pm) which will take you up to the venue. No parking or drop-offs are permitted at the venue other than the designated wedding shuttles.

Is the Welcome Party for everyone?

Yes! We have reserved space from 7:00PM - 9:00PM on Friday. This is a fiesta and we want people to mix and mingle and have a great time! We hope to see everyone there!! Please ensure to RSVP for both the wedding and the welcome party.

What area should I stay in?

Answer

The wedding events will be in Malibu, so Malibu Beach/Canyon, Westlake, Thousand Oaks or Agoura Hills would be the closest options. Other options include Calabasas, Pacific Palisades and Santa Monica.

Anything planned for Sunday?

Answer

Yes! We plan to grab Sunday brunch at Malibu Farm Pier Cafe, located at the very end of Malibu Pier. For those who will still be in town, feel free to stop by and grab coffee or a bite to eat. We would love to see everyone before they go!
