Ellis & Rachel's adventure started off from being complete strangers under the same roof one Sunday morning during church service in Opelika, Alabama back in August of 2022. Ellis, whom is a musician, & Rachel, who is a singer on the praise team, are both heavily involved within their church organization. Ellis will be the first to tell you that Rachel's voice while singing, along with her loud personality & angelic beauty is what made his curiosity spike to know, who is this astonishing young lady! He summed her up as to being an explosive firework on the outside, but inside, she's as delicate as flower. So, as time went by weeks later, I'm sure you can tell what his next move was? You guessed it! Shooting his shot, nervously, he sealed the deal that sparked a flame of continuous conversation on a daily basis, keeping them in touch! This led to their very first date on October 5, 2022. One night, after a long day of work for them both, they decided to meet for a late night ice cream date at Marble Slab Creamery. Here they unwinded, talking the night away under the stars with laughter, music, & fellowship becoming friends first, to best friends, to later on, a couple. Unbeknownst to the two, this was the beginning of what would build a longevity foundation of timeless fun, love, trust, peace of mind, & manifestation as time went on. Fast forward to Christmas night, December of 2023, Ellis decided to finally propose, with ring in hand, for Rachel to marry him. Surrounded by loved ones & close friends from both sides, without hesitation, she said YES!! Each of the two will tell you that in the beginning, it just seemed too good to be true. To meeting a random someone who is as close to being an equal counterpart in all aspects, like looking in a mirror was, scary. But with faith & trusting Gods planning process, it was nothing shy of the perfect chemistry bond.
