Dive headfirst into Seattle’s local food, beverage and art scene by visiting this bustling farmers market. The first Starbucks store is located here! It’s a great place to check out if you have a few hours to spare or want to pick up a unique souvenir.
This observation tower has been a Seattle icon since it was built for the 1962 World’s Fair. It’s a must-see for any Seattle first timer. Take an elevator ride to the observation deck for panoramic views of downtown Seattle, Elliott Bay, and Mount Rainier.
Go behind the scenes to see how the company’s famous coffee is made. Sample exclusive small batch coffee and espresso-themed cocktails!
We love to swim and hang out at Madison Park Beach. There are great places to grab a bite nearby, and if you’re lucky, you can see Mt. Rainier on a clear day!
If you’re looking for a fun Sunday activity, head over to the Ballard Farmer’s Market and enjoy over 100 vendors selling fresh food, locally grown produce, and handmade gifts.
Golden Gardens is a beautiful beach and park with scenic views of the Olympic mountain range. You can even take a dip in the sound!
Dick’s has been a popular burger spot in the Seattle neighborhoods since 1954. It has also been a favorite of ours since moving to Seattle! If you give Dick’s a visit, we recommend the Deluxe burger with a shake!
If you’re making your Seattle trip a longer stay, check out Bainbridge Island! The Bainbridge ferry has frequent departures from the Seattle Waterfront. After a short 35-minute journey, you’ll arrive at Bainbridge Island where you can walk to the historic town of Winslow with locally-owned boutiques, coffee shops, art galleries, and museums. There are also a number of wineries, vineyards, breweries, and distilleries on the island.
