We met in Physics freshman year at SMU and for Ash, it was love at first sight. For me however, it took a little convincing to move past friendship. After 3 years of growing, Ash asked me out again Senior year, and I finally said yes!

Ash surprised me with a week full of activities. We traversed from a Texas Rangers game, to Sundance Square, to the Nasher Sculpture Center and Dallas Museum of Art, to White Rock Lake. At White Rock Lake, Ash took me down to an isolated pier at sunset and we looked out over the water. When I turned back toward him he was down on one knee, and popped the question. Five years after my first yes I said YES again, to forever!
