We met when I (Racheal) moved back to Oklahoma and started at Liberty School for sixth grade. Izaac was a grade ahead, and from the first day he made me feel less alone—welcoming me without judgment and helping me find my place. Our friendship began there and quietly deepened over the years: through elementary and middle school, across high school, and into the early steps of adult life. We’ve faced some of our toughest moments together, learned from disagreements, and grown alongside one another. Even when we didn’t always see eye to eye, we never gave up on each other. Now, after years of building a life together, we’re getting married and can’t wait to celebrate with the people who’ve supported us along the way.
