Best Man
Paul and I met back at CSU as freshman trombonists in the marching band. Paul joined Ryan with the Troopers in 2007, along with some other cool cats from CSU. Paul marched '07-'09. For those of you who know Drum and Bugle Corps, Paul will always be my seat partner.
Maid of Honor
Jackie and Rachel met freshman year of college at CSU and have continued to share in the many joys of life for almost 11 years. Though they spent a few years split between Denver and Cheyenne they now live close and meet on almost a weekly basis.
Groomsman
Andrew came into Ryan's life at CSU as well, again as freshman in the marching band. Andrew was one of the funniest guys in marching band and was constantly promoting fun and shenanigans, which Ryan was a big fan of.
Matron of Honor
Kaitlyn and Rachel have been friends for almost 11 years after meeting freshman year at CSU in Fort Collins. They lived together for 3 of 4 years as roommates and have continued to share in the many joys and changes that life brings.
Groomsman
Baseball, as we called him in Troopers Drum Corps, joined up in 2008 and 2009. Paul and Ryan liked to watch drum corps shows after the Troopers Performed, and Matt joined them. Together the boys bonded about nerdy things like video games, tech, drum corps, and baseball.
Bridesmaid
Though living states apart, Tessa and Rachel have known each other for 14 years after training at the same barn and showing quarter horses all across the U.S. There is much to be said when you can spend almost 22 hours in a truck with someone and still like them at the end of the trip lol. The stories and memories all tie back to their shared love of horses.
Groomsman
Like many of the stories, Mark was also a Trooper, marching 2009 - 2011. When Paul had aged out in 2009, Mark was responsible for Ryan in 2010 making sure Ryan didn't sleep through rehearsal (which was always likely).
Bridesmaid
Let's just say that if we start putting years on this friendship you might actually guess the bride's age ha ha. Lizzie and Rachel began riding horses at the same barn and a lifelong friendship between girls and families formed. Elizabeth bought Rachel's first horse from her and from there, their lives have continued to be intertwined from horse showing to jobs, and now weddings.
