Flight
We chose to have our wedding in the city to make travel, accommodations, and getting around as easy as possible for everyone. If you’re flying in, you’ll want to book your arrival and departure through Portland International Airport (PDX). Uber is currently the most reliable rideshare option in Portland, though Lyft is also available (it can have longer wait times). If you prefer to rent a car, rental services are conveniently located right at PDX. That said, we highly recommend using ride-share to get around throughout the weekend—it’s simple and stress-free.
Travel Note
Our wedding venue is in the NE Woodlawn neighborhood of Portland, this area is close to the Alberta Arts District and the Concordia neighborhoods (and our home!). There's a ton of Air B&B options in the neighborhood for those who want to stay in a cozy home. For folks looking for a hotel stay, we would recommend Cascada, Hotel Eastlund, Courtyard by Marriott, Hyatt Regency, or the Jupiter Hotel -- all in walkable neighborhoods on the east side. Portland is a smaller city, so you can also stay on the west side, downtown, and be totally fine.
Travel Note
If you know us, you know food is our love language. Portland has no shortage of incredible spots, and these are a few of our favorites—tried, true, and highly recommended. Breaky/Coffee: Lunch: Dinner: Bars/Breweries:
