Rachel and Jeremy's love story didn't begin much differently than most in this day and age. They met on ( you guessed it) a dating app. Rachel and Jeremy both used their dating apps religiously and went on many first dates but never seemed to connect with anyone. Through all the "duds" and rejection, they both had a "never give up" and "never settle" attitude. On many occasions Rachel said to her friends and family "I'd rather be single than settle" and good thing she didn't. It wasn't until March 2019 that Rachel and Jeremy finally found THE connection they were looking for. They were drawn to each other immediately and the conversation was endless. After a few weeks of talking over the phone, they planned their first date at Double Wide, a bar in Deep Ellum, Dallas, Tx. They had such a great time that Jeremy invited Rachel to a FC Dallas soccer game the next day. The rest is history. Rachel and Jeremy took their engagement photos at the very spot they first laid eyes on each other, Double Wide. Rachel and Jeremy still attend FC Dallas soccer games on a regular basis. Both places have a very special place in their hearts. And don't let me forget... Thank God for dating apps.

Rachel and Jeremy love to travel, explore nature and experience the local flavor of every place they visit. They took their first trip together to Seattle, Washington after only dating about 2 months. Since then they have explored 12 states plus Quebec, Canada together. In April of 2021 Jeremy expressed his interest in taking a trip to Arizona. Rachel loves everything about a desert landscape so naturally she was all for it. They booked the trip for Memorial Day Weekend. Rachel and Jeremy spent the weekend sight-seeing, hiking and eating great food. On Sunday, May 30th, Jeremy and Rachel took one last hike in Sedona, Az. Unlike the other trails in the area, this one was not well marked, so Rachel and Jeremy had it all to themselves. They spent the next couple hours carefully climbing up cliff walls and taking in the breath-taking views. When they reached the top, Jeremy asked Rachel to marry him. SHE SAID YES.

Rachel and Jeremy are getting married at the Grieg French Bell Grove located inside Humboldt Redwoods State Park at 2pm on December 28, 2021. They couldn't be more excited to be married under the ancient trees and surrounded by all of the beauty. It will truly be an unforgettable experience.

Rachel's Mother, Susan and Step-Father, Mike have generously offered to host a party on July 2, 2022 to celebrate Rachel and Jeremy's marriage.
