Rach and Bry first met in February 2005 during their JS Prom practice, where they were paired as partners for the entrance march. Though they didn’t become close afterward, they exchanged quick "hellos" whenever they crossed paths—until he went off to college. In 2007, they reconnected on Facebook and shared a few friendly dates, one of which still makes Rach smile—while dining at a restaurant, she hesitated over whether to spend extra on gravy. He noticed and surprised her by buying it for her. Sweet, right? But life had other plans, and they eventually lost touch again. Then, in October 2017, fate brought them together once more, this time through Tinder. A few days later, they had their first real date, and from that day on, everything just fell into place. On February 1, 2018, they officially became a couple, starting a love story that was always fated to be.

On their first-ever road trip alone, Rach and Bry went to Acuatico to celebrate Bry’s birthday, which was just a few days earlier. It was the perfect getaway—beautiful scenery, great food, and time together. On their first night, after a lovely dinner, Bry suggested they take a walk on the beach. The evening was calm, and they found a quiet spot to sit and talk. Naturally, the conversation turned to their future plans, something they often discussed. But in typical Rach fashion, she kept getting distracted—this time by random things like donuts, stars and even bats. After a while, Bry, clearly amused, jokingly said, “Ang kulit mo!” Rach laughed and replied, “Syempre ganun talaga pag girlfriend.” He then smiled and asked, “Eh pano pag wife, makulit pa din?” Before she could answer, he showed her the ring and asked the big question: “We have a lot of plans for the future, so let’s make this official. Will you marry me?” And, of course, she said “YES!” And here they are—thrilled to share this beautiful journey of love with all of you on their wedding day.

February 1 has always been a significant day to us—it’s the day we officially started our relationship.
