FAQs

As you begin planning your travel to Raleigh, NC we know questions will come up. Check back here frequently for more information as you plan your trip.
Question

Who should I call or text if I have a question on the day of the wedding?

Answer

The Bride and Groom will be having an unplugged day! If you need to reach someone or have a question please contact our wedding planner, Elizabeth Flake at (336) 831-5269 via text or phone call.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We would love to start our ceremony right on time! Feel free to find your seat no later than 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022.

Question

What is the health protocol for the wedding surrounding covid-19?

Answer

As we become more and more aware of the Omicron variant, we are now asking that all our friends and family do what they can to make this celebration safe and healthy for all. As you arrange your travel plans, please note that we are asking all guests to take a COVID test and confirm a negative result prior to attending any wedding activities. This will ensure the health and safety of all attendees. Please keep this step in mind as you book your travel arrangements. We have a local CVS & Walgreens within walking distance of the wedding hotel and you are welcome to pre-order an at home test and travel with it in advance if you do not want to go in person via On/GO for $30 plus shipping: https://www.letsongo.com/shop

Question

Do I still have to get tested if I am fully vaccinated and or boosted?

Answer

Yes! Out of extreme precaution for everyone's safety we are asking everyone to confirm a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending ANY wedding activities.

Question

I tested negative for COVID-19 but I am feeling slightly under the weather, can I still attend wedding activities?

Answer

While we hope to be able to celebrate with each of our guests in person we understand life happens. The Bride and Groom ask you to take care of yourself first! Send your well wishes from afar, rest, recover and when you are well we look forward to celebrating with you at a later date.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We encourage all guests to wear black tie optional attire (i.e. tuxes, gowns, suits and cocktail dresses).

Question

What does black tie optional attire mean?

Answer

A black tie optional dress code isn't as confusing as it sounds (we promise!). It means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (think: an evening gown or tuxedo) but may also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress instead. Want to pull out all the stops for the evening? Rent The Runway, Jos A Banks or Men's Wearhouse can help you do just that!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

The Bride and Groom have chosen to make our special day adults only. If you are traveling out of state and looking for local child care for the evening please reach out to either the Bride or Groom for a trusted local sitter. Thank you for your understanding and we hope you can still celebrate with us!

Question

Our little one is one or under, and we can't leave them behind! What should we do?

Answer

We understand many of our friends and family have been blessed with tiny humans in the last year. We will have nursing room accommodations throughout the ceremony and reception for anyone who has a little they can't reasonably leave behind that is under the age of one year old.

Question

Is there parking at the ceremony and reception location?

Answer

Yes!

Question

I'm local, should I stay at the hotel?

Answer

We invite all our friends and family to book out the AC Hotel in North Hills, whether you are local or visiting from out of town. Please mention the Andrews Henderson wedding when booking your stay to receive a discount on your room.

Question

Is there transportation from the hotel to the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Yes, if you are staying at the wedding hotel you will be given an option to take the 3 p.m., 3:15 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. shuttle. We will also have a return shuttle.

Question

Can I take the shuttle if I am not staying at the wedding hotel?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate anyone who is not staying at the wedding hotel as the shuttle will only pick up and drop off at the host hotel.
