What will the ceremony be like?

Answer

The ceremony will be approximately an hour long and will include a traditional Catholic Mass.

I'm not Catholic, can I receive Communion?

Answer

We as Catholics believe that the bread and wine presented has been transformed into the Body and Blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We invite all Catholics who are in good standing with the Church to come forward and receive at this time. If you are not Catholic or do not wish to receive, you may come forward with your arms crossed over your chest for a blessing, or may simply remain in your seat.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the ceremony at least 15 minutes before.

What do I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We are estimating the ceremony will conclude around 3:15 pm. Between that time and the beginning of cocktail hour at 4:30pm, feel free to freshen up at the hotel or explore the charming area of Carnegie. East Main Street has some of our favorite spots including Scoops Ice Cream, Carnegie Coffee Company, and Riley's Pour House!
