It all started in a long time ago, on a campus not so far away. Rachael and Zach met long ago at Texas State University in 2016. Both of them were sophomores at the time and both had made resolutions to become more involved in the Catholic student center on campus known as Our Lady of Wisdom. Rachael joined Mu Epsilon Theta Sorority and Zach joined Lambda Omega Alpha Fraternity in the fall. They also soon realized that they had a class together: English Literature pre-1865. The two became acquittanced with each other, but nothing developed. Both pursued their teaching degrees and began coaching with Rachael joining La Vernia ISD and Zach working for Wimberley ISD. As coaches, they ran into each other a handful of times, once at coaching school in '21, again at a tennis match in '22, and at a mutual friend's wedding in '23. The final straw was when Rachael saw Zach loading his football team into the bus to go home after a football scrimmage in La Vernia. Rachael then made a decision that altered the course of human history as we know it; she talked to Zach. They started dating a month after that fateful meet-up, Zach proposed in December of '24 and soon these two will be married in July of '26 almost a decade after sharing an English Literature class together.
