We met in 10th grade in English class. We sat in the same group throughout the year. Tyler was the kid with the cool hair that always made everyone laugh. We remained friends through high school and even went to college at Hudson Valley together. One day we finally saw each other out, and started reconnecting. We both knew that this was something special. We became a couple at the age of 22 and have been together ever since!

We went to our anniversary spot up in Lake Placid. It seemed to be like any other trip we have planned there. Tyler decided that we were going to go on a small hike, despite not being dressed for the snow. We hiked up the "hill", the whole time I was complaining. I didn't want to hike in the cold and in the snow. Tyler had to tell me "It will be worth it at the top." I thought "Yeah, right?!" as I was throwing my scarf, hat, gloves at him on the way up. We got to the top, I decided to just lay on a rock. He told me to come and look at the view, so reluctantly I did, but to my surprise, Tyler got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of our lives together. Side note.. with a handmade ring box! Of course I said "YES!!!" and we were engaged!
