Question

Where is the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception taking place?

Answer

All of our wedding events will be located at Sydenham Ridge Estates, 1425 Melwood Drive Strathroy, ON N7G 3H5. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will both be outdoors (weather permitting) on gravel and grass. Our reception will be taking place indoors on the property with AC and heating if required.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

August 4th, 2026, but if you could let us know sooner it would be greatly appreciated. RSVP's can be completed online under the "RSVP" section of this website.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be taking place at 3:30 on the dot. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to find your seat.

What should I wear?

Answer

We want everyone to look and feel their best while they celebrate with us! The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. This means pulling out your favourite formal dress or suit and avoiding jeans or denim. Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors with gravel and grassy terrain. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of on-site parking at the venue. Guests are welcome to park their vehicles overnight, our only ask is that they are picked up Sunday by 9AM. Please note that trailers, RVs and camping is not permitted at the venue.

Can I bring plus one?

Answer

Due to capacity constraints at our venue we are not allowing additional plus-ones at our wedding. The name of every guest invited to attend will be clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, we will also have a golf cart available for any guests who require help getting from place to place during the day. If you require any assistance or accommodations please reach out to Rachael or Shane so we can ensure you are well taken care of.

Where do I stay?

Answer

We have a block and group code with the Strathroy Holiday Inn Express that is a 19 minute drive away from the venue. We will have a shuttle going to and from the venue to pick up and drop off. Please book by July 13, 2026 to ensure you are included in the group rate. Our group rate code is RSW and can be used to book online or over the phone.

What's the food situation?

Answer

We are so excited to have everyone join us for some good food and drinks, trust us you will not go hungry! We will be serving drinks and charcuterie for cocktail hour followed by an Italian family-style dinner during the reception. Please include any dietary restrictions with your RSVP and we will pass them along to our catering team to make the necessary arrangements.

Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?

Answer

We will have a bus that will be picking up and dropping off at the Strathroy Holiday Inn and in the Chatham-Kent Area. More details to come. The local taxi service is also available for guests to contact at (519) 615-0111.
