Our dress code for the ceremony is elevated garden—designed for dressing to impress. We encourage tailored slacks with a dress shirt (jackets optional but preferred) as well as elegant dresses or dressy suits. Because the celebration is outdoors, we recommend shoes that are comfortable for grass or uneven ground, such as dress shoes, block heels, wedges, or dressy flats. Our color palette is neutrals and soft floral tones, and we welcome guests to draw inspiration from those shades.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, and we recommend arriving 20–30 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating.
Our ceremony and reception will both take place at the Washington Park Boathouse. The boathouse is located at the southwest end of Smith Lake. You can enter the park near S. Franklin St. and E. Kentucky Ave. to access the parking lot, or park on S. Franklin St. near E. Exposition Ave. and walk in.
Free parking is available near the venue, but it is limited. Please plan accordingly and allow extra time to find a spot. We encourage carpooling or using rideshare services if possible. We will not be providing shuttle transportation to or from the ceremony.
Dinner will be served family-style. Please let us know of any allergies or dietary intolerances when you RSVP so we can accommodate your needs.
We’ll be offering a selection of mocktails and other non-alcoholic beverages throughout the evening so everyone can celebrate comfortably. If you don’t drink or have specific preferences, please feel free to let us know—we’re happy to accommodate where we can.
We are only able to accommodate guests who are listed on the invitation. While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that this be an adults-focused celebration. If this presents a hardship, please reach out to us directly and we’ll do our best to help.
We are not creating a traditional registry. Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. If you feel inclined, we would be grateful for a contribution toward our honeymoon.
We are not reserving a hotel block for our wedding. However, we recommend staying in the Cherry Creek or Downtown Denver areas, both of which are less than a 10-minute drive from the venue.
