Bride
Scott's pretty much taken this site over so at least I get to do a couple of these! (And don't go pointing the finger at me if you see something incorrect!) Scott and I met back in 2015 at Fowler Dodge a few months after he was discharged from the Army and our lives have [at least felt they have] been like a Netflix show since. If any of you know me, you already know I'm ridiculously loud, I'm about as goofy as they come, and I'm one person who you probably won't forget about for some reason or another. I can't wait to have you all there and share this episode with all of you!
Groom
Y'all know me!!! I want to thank everyone who is coming to support us!!! From the bottom of my heart I really do appreciate you being there and I can't wait to see everyone!!!
Maid of Honor
This girl... where do I even start!? Y'all think I'm crazy... she can put me to shame sometimes. Crazy as she can be, she's always been right by my side for everything! (There's even a running sister-cousin joke because it's that intense. Lol!) I've never known my life without her and I couldn't imagine it any other way. She has definitely been the big sister I lucked into getting! It still feels like we should be little kids in the back of our grandma's car having a "jam out Sunday". Even from states away she has still been with me for everything (including wedding planning at 1am)! Hey, Marissa! Your daddy ain't got no legs!
Best Man
Me and James grew up together in Seminole, trekking across each others land, slingin mud at each other and swimming in ponds. He's one of the closest people to me and I've shared a ton of memories with him that I will never forget.
Bridesmaid
Kris and I met at David Stanley Dodge! (Yet another car business buddy, just not from Fowler. Lol!) She's usually a home body but there was one time, I convinced her to come over and hang out and it's been history ever since. She's always down for Scott and I to make her dinner, especially if it's anything on the smoker or Cajun bake! Oh... and almond joy cake-pops! She's the kind of friend to bring her homework over just so I have someone to chat with while cleaning. She's also the kind of friend that claims the couch when she sleeps over! It's her automatic called spot to say the least! Best third wheel you could ever wish for and we wouldn't trade it for anything! She's always down for some good wine and a Disney movie! Her obsession with Disney is like nothing I have ever seen before!
Groomswoman
Me and Britt first met when she asked me to be an assistant coach for the T-Ball team that Acen and Gunnar played on. Since then we have become 2 VERY good friends and she is someone that I can lean on and talk to when I need to.
Bridesmaid
Where even do I begin with you, Bailey!? We met through T-ball and I'm so glad we did! She's cleaned my house after Spencer was born and is always willing to drop everything if I need her help. She's always busy with something... but make no mistake when I tell you that she will always find a way to make time for you! I don't know how she does it all! Bailey, you better expect Uproar to be played so everyone can see your Bailey dance!
Groomsman
Met Curtis when I first started in the car business at Fowler Dodge, yea there's a lotta history coming from that place. He helped train me to be the salesman I am now and showed me how good a person can be. There aren't many people that I can pick up the phone and call and just unload an emotional dump truck on, but he is one of them and I wouldn't trade our friendship for anything.
Bridesmaid
Brianne and I met May 25th, 2015... (Remember the history in Fowler Dodge... well she's one of the Fowler buddies too!) We've spent endless days together. You'll never meet a more bubbly person in your life- I promise! Late night closing shifts we'd work together she'll tell you I tried to seduce her with 90s R&B and candles! She's got a heart of pure gold like no one else! Make no mistake though, she will steal your soul because she's a ginger. She's brought me Cane's after my wreck and taken care of me when I needed it the most. She's like my walking journal! She'll give me some tough love when I need it and she'll give me a safe place to cry and vent when I need it just the same.
Groomsman
This guy........this short, balding, about as annoying as the worst little brother you can imagine human being quickly became one of my best buds when we met at Fowler Dodge (like I said A LOT of history). We became good buds very fast cause well other than him bein super ugly and a midget we have a bunch in common. We both like to fish and we like horses blah blah blah.........Iain you're short.
Father of the Bride
Talk about tough love! My dad will always give me the honest truth about whatever I ask, but he's always been there for me no matter the costs. He's taught me just about everything I know. He's always down to go to a rock concert with me, he's even let me ditch school and took me! (Best birthday gift ever!) I'm very lucky to say I have the most loving dad I could ask for. Seeing him go from being such a great dad to becoming a Papa for the first time is something I will never forget! That's probably my favorite memory to date! Dad, this walk will be a very close runner up and I can't wait!
Mother of the Bride
I'm proud to say that over the years mine and my mom's relationship has changed so much! She's changed and bettered so many things in her life it's unbelievable! We might drive each other completely insane but isn't that what mothers and daughters do? I feel like it's safe to say, she and I have both taught each other so much over the years! She also stuck me with 2 annoying little brothers and 2 even more annoying little sisters that I'm kind of thankful to have most of the time. By the way, Mom, please don't lick my eyeball... you'll mess up my make-up!
Stepmother of the Bride
Never in a million years did I think I'd get to have a stepmom! She may not have any of her own kids but she's the coolest stepmom you could ask for and she makes a great Grandma "Joey"! She's got the coolest and out there personality and interests to match! From Hello Kitty to racing to shopping to anything spooky related! She's been a huge change to my life as an adult and it's been one of the most fun experiences to have finally! She may not know how to cook, and she can be a little picky about her food, but her love for Mexican food can outweigh my dad's and that's nearly impossible! When I broke my leg, she was the one I knew I could limp to for advise on how to make it better. Joy, I can't wait to see what fun things are in store for us!
Stepfather of the Bride
Oh boy! We haven't always seen eye to eye, but I can say that I have the best stepdad out there aside from Acen. He does everything for our family and works his butt off to make sure everyone is taken care of. He's the guy that anyone can call if they need help and he's willing to do whatever it takes to get them that help. He's always got some kind of joke or prank up his sleeve to keep you on your toes! It's even more fun when he lets you in on them and help! He's the master of all trades from flipping cars, to working on them and radios, to helping pick out my wedding dress! He even taught me how to drive my first car and parallel park!
Father of the Groom
Through thick and thin but mostly the thick my dad has been there for me in every way that I could ever imagine. He's supported me when I've needed him to and been the sternest most stubborn asshole when he knew that he had to be, even if I hated him for it at the time. All in all I've learned so much from him in this life and I know that he will always have something to teach me. I'm not sure who I would be today if this man hadn't stepped up and done what he didn't have to. I love you dad!!!
Mother of the Groom
There is one person in this world that a man will always love and that's his momma. Well this one is mine and there aint no one else on this earth who could ever replace her. She's taught me how to act right and how to treat others, she's busted my ass when I needed it and loved me when I needed her to the most. I love you momma!!!
Flower Girl
Daughter of the Groom and the oldest of our little clan! She's goofy and beautiful and we love her to pieces!!!! She loves playing volleyball and being in her school band! She's my shining star that is gonna go far, just ya'll wait and see!
Flower Girl
Daughter of the Groom, with all the SASS anyone could ever handle!! At 6 years old this one right here will talk your ear off and then pick it up hand it back to you and talk some more. She has such a beautiful personality and an attitude that would give Rachael a BIG run for her money!
Ring Bearer
Son of the Groom, and the oldest boy. There isn't a day that goes by that I am not proud of what he does and what he has already accomplished. He's a carbon copy of me and I see so much of myself in him, from his love of baseball to how goofy he is constantly acting.
Ring Bearer
Son of the Bride, he's the character out of the clan. He's got his own drum he beats on to whatever rhythm he's feeling at that time. He's taken every punch life has thrown at him so far with such a positive outlook on it! He's gained 2 step parents! He went from being an only child one year to gaining 6 siblings in total the next! He loves being a big brother to Spencer and that he has so many brothers and sisters even if he argues with them half the time. He does try to follow in Talon's footsteps when he can. The older he gets the more I notice myself in him with certain things he does, his interests in art and colors, his horrible dance moves. He's been one of the things in life that has made me grow and I thank him every chance he's given me to do it even if I haven't been perfect.
Ring Bearer
Son of the Groom, and lemme tell you THIS ONE is the drama queen of our clan!!! Tons of spunk with a don't mess with me attitude, but yet he's got one of the biggest hearts that I've ever seen!
Ring Bearer
Son of the Bride and Groom, and my hero. He's the mini me of our world. Even now at 6 months old he has my everything, except the nose, and he's got his momma's attitude!! Like I'm not kidding when this boy gets hungry he has no chill......just like Rachael. I love him to death and I can't wait to see what he becomes!
Celebrant
Grandfather of the Bride, I've only ever had one Papa or grandpa my whole life so I don't know what it's like for the people who get to have more than one and I don't need to. He has been my favorite and all that I could have dreamed of having. He tells me stories of me asking when I'd be big enough to eat steak with him as a toddler. He's been a truck driver longer than I've been alive so the times he got to spend at home were some of my childhood favorites. He's always made sure I know just how much he loves me. That being said, don't get me wrong- he's a stubborn old man though who loves his overalls and hates when Nanny throws them away and taught me to love country music. Papa, remember to not start your speech with "dearly beloved" and remember I’ll always be your little Rachie Roo.
