Rachael and Mitch had their first date at Buono Forchetta in South Park, San Diego. They immediately hit it off and the connection was there from the get go! After an amazing Italian meal, Mitch quickly figured out the way to Rachael's heart was food, so he followed up dinner with a walk to the local ice cream store. They laughed the night away and had so much in common from both being athletes to being SDSU alumni. The two have been inseparable ever since!

On their three year dating anniversary, Mitch took Rachael to Zion National Park. Rachael was excited to hike Angels Landing the chilly morning of February 5th. Not having a clue what Mitch was about to do next, Mitch told Rachael they should take a picture off the side of the road because it was very scenic. Mitch propped up his phone on a tree and what Rachael thought was a self timer to take pictures, Mitch had set his video and recorded the entire special moment between the two of them. They celebrated by hiking Angels Landing and came back to their cabin with lots of wine and champagne from their family and friends! It was a perfect weekend to say the least.

Rachael and Mitch reside in North County San Diego. Rachael is the Team Leader of Keller Williams Carlsbad and Mitch is a Project Manager for SDG&E as well as a baseball coach. Rachael and Mitch like to spend their free time with their dog Sadie, trying new restaurants, playing golf and enjoying water sports at the beach.
