Question

How soon should I book my hotel, B&b or Air B&B?

Answer

Soon! There are many boutique hotel and B&B options on the NJ side (Lambertville) and on the PA side (New Hope). Both locations are wonderful and just a 5 minute stroll over the river from each other and 15 scenic minutes from the venue. Find your preferred location, within your preferred price point and BOOK EARLY! Once gone, there are NO chain hotels available in the vicinity. Visit the "LODGING" tab for suggested locations that are situated within or a car quick ride from downtown New Hope. PLEASE NOTE: Most small B&B properties, VRBO and Air B&B locations require a two night minimum stay. Please see the "LODGING" Tab for options with "single" night stays available. These will 100% book out first.

Question

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, the venue is equipped with plenty of parking spots for those who prefer to drive

Question

Will there be a shuttle service or transportation provided to and from the venue?

Answer

Sadly, accommodations are quaint/ boutique style and therefore we could not secure a large enough central property for all guests to stay. Fortunately, accommodations both New Hope and Lambertville are less than a 20 minute ride from the venue. Uber and Lyft rides are readily available between both hubs for less than $20. I feel like this goes without saying, but DRINKING AND DRIVING IS NOT COOL. Uber and carpooling with a designated driver are key.

Question

Will the ceremony be onsite?

Answer

Yes, a brief outdoor ceremony will take place at Terrain DelVal, followed by an outdoor, but covered, cocktail hour and a seated reception.

Question

Will children be invited to join the celebration?

Answer

Due to the nature of the venue itself, only the children participating in the wedding party will be in attendance.

Question

Why can't I find much information about the wedding venue "Terrain DelVal"?

Answer

This is a BRAND new property and we have booked it sight-unseen (it is basically a wood frame with a CGI rendering at the moment) and opens on June 30th for it's inaugural voyage. Michael and I are anticipating what our day will look like just as much as you will. Thanks for indulging in the fun!

Question

What About Parking in New Hope?

Answer

New Hope is a busy summer town. Though it is a wonderful location to stroll through, shop, antique or grab a cup of coffee or lunch, street parking is limited and the use of a municipal / private lot may be required. There are several available through a quick google. Walking is usually the best mode of local transportation.
