Visit the campus where Mark & I met, became friends, graduated, and got engaged! Our love story began here on campus and it remains an incredibly special place in our hearts.
Back in our college days, you could find us at a Swenson's nearly every Saturday night to pick up a burger, fries, and a milkshake. If you're from out of town, make sure to add this delicious experience to your weekend plans!
Some of our favorite Saturday mornings are spent in this area- breakfast at La Crepe or donuts from Dick’s Bakery and a w-a-l-k our chocolate lab, Abby, at Coe Lake. During summer nights we love to listen to the live music from the porch swings.
The West Side Market is Cleveland's oldest continuously operating public market, located in the historic Ohio City neighborhood. They offer a diverse array of fresh foods and specialty items from more than 70 family-owned vendors. We love to shop for fresh home made pasta, pierogies, fruits and vegetables!
This is one of our favorite board game shops in the area. Find your next board game night favorite here! Our current go-to is Catan Seafarers, which we play weekly with friends. We recommend picking up Taboo, Ticket to Ride, or Long Shot if you're looking for a new & easy to learn game!
Visit the zoo to get your steps in and feed the giraffes! This is one of our favorite weekend date locations.
Whether you're a die hard Cleveland fan like Mark, or just protesting the Pirates until Bob Nutting sells the team like Rachael, you can enjoy a Guardians game when the weather is nice and cool, and the hot dogs are $1.
"Pickleball & DQ tonight?" is a frequent text for us during the spring & summer. You can find us here on a warm, sunny afternoon pretending we are pickleball professionals. Bring your paddles along and start up a friendly (or not) match on the courts!
There’s plenty of things to do in the National Park as well as the many Metro Parks in the area!
