Believe it or not we met off of the app, tinder. I am grateful for technology bringing me to my soulmate. We both were only 5 minutes away from each other but due to our busy schedules we never met in passing. Our first date was brunch in Philly, at Green Eggs. He picked me up, since there was a wait we took a walk around and chatted before we ate. He came prepared with champagne for mimosas. We chatted and hit it off right away. We both got the eggs benny and got to know eachother during brunch. We both wanted to continue the date after brunch was over, so he helped and fixed my closet before running an errand. Round 2 we went and got some yummy apple cider donuts and he brought some home for his parents.

When visiting Marks' besties, Ant and Taylor, we went on a hike to Torrey Pines National Reserve. We hiked around and saw so many beautiful views. I started to get to tired and needed a break. I think I got him nervous at this point, because he was very persistent about walking to the beach. We continued to hike to this little walkway bend that led to a jetty. Taylor suggested us getting our picture on the jetty, as I turned around for the picture Mark was on one knee. He asked one simple question while grinning ear to ear"Will you spend the rest of your life with me?" I said yes as I cried happy tears and was in shock. We were on vacation and were around so many beautiful sights in San Diego. I was ecstatic that this moment while standing on the jetty was our moment. His friends brought us signs that said He asked & she said yes. They brought us little bottles of champagne and we sprayed it in the air to celebrate. We are so grateful for the help of Ant and Tay for a perfect proposal. He surprised me & then that evening we went to a beautiful winery that was high up on a hill. It overlooked all these palm trees, we ate Italian food and celebrated in the sunlight with yummy food and good wine.
