Is there a minimum stay requirement?
Answer
We are working with a travel agent that requires a 3 night minimum stay at the recommended resorts on our travel tab. The travel agent will guide guests for room blocks but all are welcome to stay as long as they wish.

Are children allowed?
Answer
Yes, of course all children are welcome to celebrate! When booking with the room block, be sure to book with Dreams Vallarta Bay (previously named Now Amber Puerto Vallarta) resort as this is kid-friendly.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
No, unfortunately in efforts to maintain the intimacy of our celebration, only those designated with plus ones on the save the dates/invite are invited.

Any plans for a stateside celebration?
Answer
No need, we are throwing the party of the year in Mexico!

Do we need to bring cash?
Answer
Tips are not required throughout the resort but of course if you are happy with your services during your stay, the resort staff would never refuse tips (: Other than for tips and souvenirs, cash is not needed.

Do you have a gift registry?
Answer
Our biggest wish is that you can join us for our wedding in Mexico! We realize that requires travel, so please do not feel obligated to get us a wedding gift! We have created a registry for those who have asked for gift suggestions.

What is the attire for the wedding?
Answer
The wedding will be held outdoors and attire is beach formal. Some examples include: formal sundresses, linen pants, collared shirts (no ties required). Please no shorts, tennis shoes/flip flops, or bright/patterned shirts. Remember to bring sunglasses just in case (:

What lodging options are available?
Answer
We are recommending guests stay at Secrets Vallarta Bay or Dreams Vallarta Bay (previously named Now Amber Puerto Vallarta). Please see the Travel tab on our website for details.

What is included for "all inclusive"?
Answer
For resorts listed on our Travel tab, room, food, drink, and entertainment are all included in the price you will pay in advance. Please note: flight is not included when booking your stay with our travel agent

Do I need a passport?
Answer
Yes! To travel to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico a passport will be required.

Do I have to stay at your resort?
Answer
While you are free to stay wherever you wish, we have researched and recommended the specific resorts in the travel tab that we feel are the best! We are working with a travel agent to ensure room blocks with a slight discount. When staying at the recommended resorts, transportation to and from the resort to the wedding venue will be provided.

Will the wedding be at the resort?
Answer
No. The ceremony and reception will be offsite at a beautiful venue about 30 minutes away called Martoca Beach Gardens.

What, if any, transportation is provided?
Answer
Transportation to and from the airport will be up to you, but don't worry, this can be added to your booking package. Transportation to and from the wedding venue will be covered by us via shuttle bus when staying at the recommended resort. If staying at a hotel or resort other than Secrets Vallarta Bay or Now Amber Vallarta, transportation will be left up to the guests.

What about COVID-19?
Answer
Currently, there are no travel restrictions from the US to Mexico, however it is required to be tested before traveling and when returning back to the US which the resorts will provide on site. TBD if there will be future vaccination requirements for international travel to Mexico. Or in a perfect world, by May 2022 we won't have to worry about this (:

Do I have to fly out of Cleveland?
Answer
No, when booking with the travel agent you will be able to pick your local airport to fly out of.
