Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 24th. You may RSVP directly on our wedding website. You may also call or text us at 630-441-0883.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Please join us in cocktail attire, or semi-formal attire for our special day. Suits, collared shirts, dresses, semi-formal dress pants, etc. are great options. Thank you for dressing for the occasion!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors on an uncovered deck. Feel free to bring sunglasses and sunscreen. The indoor reception hall is air conditioned. Dancing will be outside under a covered pavilion. Wear bug spray! If there is inclement weather, all activities will be held indoors.

Question

What are we eating?

Answer

We will have a buffet of tenderloin, salmon, smoked gouda mac & cheese, crushed potatoes, and buttered green beans. For dessert, we will have three flavors of wedding cake.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly request that only those named on the invitation join us for our special day, due to extremely limited venue capacity. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There is plenty of free parking near the entrance. Please note that overnight parking is not allowed, and there is a risk of being towed if your car is left overnight.

Question

Is there a preferred way to give gifts?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for and gifts are completely optional. However, if you do wish to give a gift, we have a wedding registry on our website. We are registered with Amazon and Cutco and would prefer that gifts are shipped directly to us. If you prefer to give money, we have a cash fund at the top of our registry to go towards our honeymoon and house renovation fund. We kindly ask that you do not give checks. Thank you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding, with the exception of flower children and ring bearers. We understand this may affect your ability to attend and we appreciate your understanding in making arrangements for childcare.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We appreciate your excitement! However, we are having a phone-free ceremony. We want to see your faces and not your phones, please! Our photographers will be capturing these special moments, and we will share these pictures on our website for you to see. During the reception, phones are welcome - just not during the ceremony. Thank you for understanding!

Question

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Answer

We have room blocks at four local hotels. Please view the Travel page on this website for a list of local hotels and discount booking codes!

Question

What should/could I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We will have a cocktail hour with appetizers. Outside, we will also have lawn games to pass the time! The ceremony will be from 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm and the cocktail hour will be from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm.

Question

What time will the reception end?

Answer

The reception will end at 11:00 pm.

Question

Whom should I call with questions?

Answer

Please text the bride and groom at 630-441-0883. On the day of the wedding, please refer your questions to our day-of-coordinator, Andrea, at 815-224-7333 ext. 334.
