Before you travel

1. Ensure your ID and passport are active and your passport has over 6 months remaining validity beyond your departure date. 2. Take a photo of your ID and passport and send it to a friend or a relative. 3. Apply for Global Pre-check online! Makes getting back into the US much quicker and easier. 4. Exchange USD for Euros. Do not carry too much cash on you for safety reasons and you also want to make sure you spend the Euros you have while abroad as they are not accepted in the states. 5. Ensure your credit cards are accepted in Italy and check your credit card company's policy on foreign transaction fees. 6. Get ready for a long (but exciting) day of travel! Bring snacks, medicine, phone & iPad chargers, sleep mask, books, headphones, outlet converters, chapstick, comfy socks, etc. Hold tight! Packing list to come!

Flight

Napoli or Rome

The easiest way to get to Ischia NA, Italy is to fly into the Aeroporto Internazionale di Napoli (NAP) airport. If you have a layover, please ensure your layover is no less than 2 hours to accommodate any delays, navigating a foreign airport, restroom visits, etc. Once you arrive at the NAP airport, you can take a 1 hour ferry to Ischia NA, Italy. Another way to get to Ischia NA, Itlay is to fly into Rome (FCO) airport and then take a 1 hour and 45 minute train ride to the NAP airport. From the NAP airport you can then take a 1 hour ferry to Ischia NA, Italy.

Cab information

We suggest taking a cab from the airport to Molo Beverello, the docking area for the ferry to Ischia! We have read that Molo Beverello can be quite busy so please factor in enough time to figure out directions and make sure you board the correct ferry to Ischia.
