Schedule

The Wedding Website of Rachael Richards and Garrison Ortiz
This weekend means so much to us. We get to bring you to my hometown and family farm — a place that’s shaped so much of who I am and has become really special to both of us. Life moves fast, but this place slows everything down in the best way. We’re really excited to share it with you. We’d love for the weekend to feel less like a single event and more like a relaxed, intimate few days together — time outside, easy conversations, old stories, (friendly) competition, and just spending time with the people we love. More details will come as we get closer, but here’s a general outline of what to expect:

Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Party

6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

After a small family-only rehearsal, we’re hosting a casual outdoor welcome party on the back patio. Expect good food, drinks, string lights, and a fireplace — all the cozy things to kick off the weekend together. Attire: Dressy casual. Think effortless, comfortable, and farm-friendly — jeans, sundresses, button-downs, boots, flats, and sandals all work great.

Saturday Morning: Yard Games + Lake Hang

10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Lake Nehai Tonayea
Keytesville, MO 65261

Starting at 10, we’ll be hanging out at Lake Nehai with yard games (wiffle ball, cornhole, beersby). There isn’t food nearby, so grab breakfast in Brunswick, Keytesville, or Salisbury beforehand. You can check out the “Things to Do” section for local spots. Don’t sleep on Casey’s breakfast pizza — it’s a Midwest delicacy 😉 G and I can’t resist a little friendly competition. Totally optional, very us, and meant to be a fun, easy way to start the day. And even if you’re not planning to jump into the games, still come hang out — the lake is beautiful and the company will be good. BYOB welcome. Attire: Casual & comfortable Think athletic or casual wear you feel good in — sneakers, sandals, shorts, jeans, casual dresses, and swimsuits if you plan to paddle board or kayak

The Ceremony

5:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Attire: Our wedding colors are black, soft white, espresso brown, and touches of olive green. Wear any colors you love! The ceremony will be on grass and the reception on a wood floor. Missouri evenings in early October are usually in the low–mid 60s, so consider a light layer. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
