Worth The Wait

Dan and Rachael's story begins well before they actually met. It was discovered years into their relationship they were at the same place at the same time on multiple occasions without being introduced- having both worked at a local grocery chain and having many mutual friends.It is thought that God waited for their paths to cross at the perfect time. On an evening in April of 2013 Rachael and Dan would cross paths at a local bar ,The Westend. They spent that night talking, sharing stories, and quickly realized how much they had in common. They have been inseperatable ever since. July 9th of that same year at a Keith Urban concert, they would officially begin dating. Over the next six years the two would accomplish many goals together- graduating from college/ trade school and buying their first home. On April 25, 2019 as the sun went down on a Clearwater beach sky ,to the back drop of jumping dolphins, Dan would get on one knee and ask Rachael to marry him. As many of you know Rachael and Dan were set to be married in 2021.But again, God would have other plans, In December of 2020 two days before Christmas, Rachael and Dan would receive the best gift of all: A baby girl August 11,2021 they welcomed their biggest blessing, their daughter Cora Rae Combes at 1:32 am at 7lbs 1 oz When rescheduling they opted for a more intimate ceremony and reception surrounded by their closest friends and family. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all in honor of our love and commitment to one another- it's been 9 years in the making! “ God has perfect timing; Never too early, Never too late.
