Is there a dress code? What will the weather be like?

Answer

Yes, cocktail attire is requested. Men: Suits or pants and button downs Women: Cocktail dresses or jumpsuits The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and reception indoors. On average in early November, Charleston sees a high in the 70s , and a low in the 50s.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception? Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot, which is a short walk from the venue. There will also be a golf cart to transport you from the parking lot to the venue. There will not be any transportation provided to or from the venue. There will be an open bar available, so please plan accordingly. There should be plenty of Uber/Lyfts available if you do not want to drive.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 11am. Please arrive around 15 minutes early to allow for parking and walking to the venue. Note that Sunday the 5th is the day Daylight Savings Time ends. You'll get an extra hour of sleep, and make sure you don't arrive an hour early!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Your children are welcome at the wedding and reception on Sunday if they are included on the invitation. Please let us know if your children will be in attendance so we can make sure to have the appropriate food.
