Is the wedding ceremony at the same place as the reception?

Answer

Sort of! The wedding ceremony will be taking place on the beach, right outside the venue. We will continue our reception inside the venue space. In the case of weather issues, the ceremony would then take place inside.

What do I wear?

Answer

We are getting married at the BEACH! We ask that you remember this when choosing your shoes! We would not recommend high heels or stilettos of any kind as the ceremony will take place on the beach. We ask our guests wear cocktail beach attire... “What does this mean??” For ladies: This means midi length, maxi or flowy dresses. For shoes: sandals, wedges or low chunky heels (remember- sand!!) For men: A jacket isn’t required. Blazer optional. Light weight collared shirts (think linen or cotton), khakis or slacks if you prefer. Whatever keeps you comfy and cool! We want our guests to be comfortable in what they choose to wear. The wedding takes place in September on the beach, there will most likely be a breeze from the ocean and the sun will not be as high in the sky, so we are optimistic it won’t be too hot. The last few years on September 13th have been between 76° and 82°°.

Are children invited?

Although we love your little ones, we have made the decision for this to be a fun weekend for the adults so that everyone can relax and enjoy the happy occasion.
