Rachael's side: Some girlfriends and I traveled up to Pittsburgh from WV for a birthday "girls night out". We walk 4 blocks to a house party in our heels where a friend of a friend was hanging out. We hang around for a few minutes and notice the music has stopped and people are starting to make plans. Soon enough, the host shouts "let's go out!", and we're wondering how we're going to get anywhere with no vehicle and sore feet. She then says "Constantin! Drive these girls!", I turn to look at our situation and call "Shotgun!". We laugh and kick up the dance floor most of the night, this boy actually knows how to dance! He later drives us back to where we're staying and I can't help but to sit and chat with him into the night. He CALLS instead of texts a few days later and the smiley phone calls continue to this day. Constantin's side: There was this party at my friends house. It was a regular party, until I saw Rachael walk in. I noticed her immediately and I swear I was going to break the ice, until someone yelled "We're going to the club!" I was doomed. A friend asked if I had room in my car. "Sure why not," I wasn't drinking that night. It was Rachael, I was going to give her and her friends a ride. She yelled "Shotgun" as we walked to my car. We danced all night. Afterwards, we exchanged numbers and chatted on the phone daily. I remember smiling so much my face hurt. Our first date was in Pittsburgh, we laughed all day. Our second date we toured the wilds of WV, we laughed all day. To this day, we explore together and laugh together
We stopped at Coopers Rock for a "quick hike" on the way to Constantin's parents house for Thanksgiving. Reminiscing about our first date here & retracing our steps back to what will forever be "poop rock" (you can ask us about it in person), we make our way back to the spot with the love-struck view. In a moment of total surprise, he drops down on one knee and asks for our adventure together to never end. Team S & S forever.
