Mountain Semi-Formal Our wedding will be outdoors, and Montana evenings can get chilly, so we recommend bringing a jacket or layer for later in the night. The ceremony and reception will both take place on grass, so please keep that in mind when choosing footwear. Block heels, wedges, boots, or other grass-friendly shoes are recommended. We’d love for guests to dress up while still feeling comfortable for the setting. Longer dresses and midi dresses are great options. For men, collared shirts, sport coats, and dark jeans are perfectly acceptable — we just ask that attire feels polished and wedding-appropriate. Most importantly, we want everyone comfortable and ready to celebrate with us!
