Question

What is the attire for Friday, Saturday and Sunday?

Answer

Friday will our welcome cocktail at The Cape's lobby bar before dinner--totally optional. We'll be hosting an open bar for an hour to mingle and get to see and meet up with everyone. Attire for this is casual/vacation wear. *Remember to make reservations on your own for any of the restaurants on site. Saturday will be the rehearsal dinner at Acre-- leaving the hotel at 4:30pm. Girls can wear summer dresses and guys can wear collared shirts, shorts or pants. Sunday,...the big day! Attire is beach formal. The groom and groomsman will be wearing black suits. Remember to bring sunglasses just in case. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Question

Is The Cape hotel all-inclusive?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. The food is amazing and they have four restaurants on-site, including the terrace by the swim-up bar. We recommend stopping at the local grocery store on the way from the airport to grab a case of waters. And of course, my tip is to always bring snacks for the room or for travel days ;) beef jerky, crackers, nuts, chips, etc.

Question

What, if any, transportation is provided?

Answer

Transportation to and from the airport will be up to you. Our planner recommends Impala Ground Services for airport transfer. Please head to the tab, "TRAVEL" for the links & all the info you need to book :) Transportation to and from Acre will be covered by us.

Question

Will we be able to use the pool at The Cape if we are staying off-site?

Answer

Unfortunately, the pool is for hotel guests only. They are willing to offer day-passes to any guests staying off property for $150 minimum that can be put towards food & bev. Please let us know if you would like to partake prior to the trip so we can make arrangements with the hotel :)

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

-sunscreen -swimsuits -wedding weekend attire -case of water, if you're able to stop at the grocery store on the way to the hotel -party attitude !!!!

Question

What about COVID testing?

Answer

We are highly recommending everyone get tested for covid prior to leaving for Mexico. This way we'll all be safe and on the same page for the whole weekend. For everyone flying back to the United States, you will need a Negative COVID-19 test to be permitted on your return flight. PCR and Antigen tests are both accepted and can be taken directly at The Cape hotel if you are a guest (complimentary). Please remember to schedule your COVID test when you arrive. The test needs to be taken no later than 72 hours before your departing flight. Results will be ready within 24 hours.

Question

Can we take/post photos of the ceremony/wedding day?

Answer

We're so looking forward to our big day and can't wait to celebrate with you! With that being said, we want our guests to be in the moment and enjoy the day with us as much as possible. We ask that you please *do not* post anything of the bride and groom until we do. This is such a special day and we want to share it with our close friends before sharing it on social media. Share as much as you want of your personal experience at the wedding but if it includes the bride and groom, please wait until the following day :) Thank you so much! If you take photos/video feel free to send them to us since it will be a few weeks before we get ours back from our photographer.

For all the days along the way
